Luvox Prescription

Everyone had heard of the biggest school shooting in history of 1998. The Columbine massacre left 13 dead and 26 injured, along with the two shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold. There have been reports the lead to Eric Harris of being prescribed Luvox just days before the shooting occured. Luvox is an antidepressant that is designed to treat OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). Days before the shooting, it was reported that the Marine Corps had declined Harris and this also happened to be the time he was given this medication. Coincidence? While this type of medication is typically prescribed to adults, children and teens also get prescribed. According to American Psychiatric Association President Dr. Rodrigo Munoz stated that there is no direct relation to Luvox and violent behavior. He continued by stating that there was a link to violent behavior if a person who is using the drug does not seek help while using it. While investigations were carried out, there were no signs of the drugs inside the bodies of either Eric Harris or Dylan Klebold which leads to curious thinking. This leads to questions after the reports of a friend of Klebold’s came out that he was taking the drug and witnessed it first hand and even urged Klebold to stop using. But, the records of if this is true that he was taking them remains sealed. So was Klebold really taking the drug at the time of the attack? Is there something that the sheriff’s office is refusing to spill about? Stay tuned as I uncover more dirt from that dreadful day of the deadliest mass school shooting in 1998.
