Helter Skelter

From the beginning of the tribal era of humans the fear of the other has been prevalent. For Charles Manson and his followers the fear of the other consumed their lives. Helter Skelter or a war of the races between blacks and whites was the goal of Charles Manson and his family when murdering Sharon Tate and 4 others on August 8th, 1969 and murdering Leno and Rosemary LaBianca on August 9th. The murders of Sharon Tate reached national news the next day and the LaBianca murders were discovered 19 hours after the event occurred. During the night of the LaBiance murders Leslie Van Houten was ordered by Charles Manson to stab Rosemary LaBianca continuously, it was later discovered in the trial that 41 of Rosemary's stab wounds were inflicted post mortem and Van Houten is on record as saying that she almost certainly knew that Rosemary was already dead. During that same night the words "Healter Skelter" were written on the refrigerator in the LaBianca kitchen. Patricia Krenwinkel said during trial that she was the one who wrote the words on the fridge.
Now, there are many other details to the night of these murders and I encourage you to read into the gruesome events that occurred on those nights because there are several messages left by Manson and his family. However, I want to shift focus to a small detail of Manson's plan. He wanted stash the Labianca wallet in a predominantly black neighborhood so that when they used the credit cards and "the establishment" found out they would automatically assume that an organization of people committed the murders. The scheme of these murders was conducted and carried out by an individual under the influence of the Book of Revelations in the Bible and an album by the Beatles.
Considering that Manson was obsessed with the Beatles "White" album and he was sure that the music was speaking to him and innocent songs such as "blackbird, piggies, and helter skelter" were interpreted that there is a race war about to start but when it didn't Manson took matters into his own hands. The song helter skelter became the most prominent of the songs when Manson decided to kick start the war with murder. This type of interpretation comes from an emotion that is common among all humans; that emotion is fear.
The fear of a black planet drove Manson to persuade himself and his family to commit such heinous crimes. The fear being that the supremacy of the white race has ended and that the other races are going to overpower and outnumber them. Thus leading individuals such as Manson and his family members to fear that their way of life is over and the only way to stop the shifting power dynamics would be to set in motion Helter Skelter.

I am going to attach the lyrics and a link to the song "Helter Skelter" by The Beatles and Paul Mcartney. Is the message that Manson claimed to see actually there? Or was it the claims of a man who read into the mysticism of lyrics and gave into the fear of the black of the planet?

[Verse 1: Paul McCartney]
When I get to the bottom
I go back to the top of the slide

Where I stop and turn
And I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again

[Verse 2: Paul McCartney]
Do you, don't you want me to love you?
I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you
Tell me, tell me, tell me, come on tell me the answer!
Well you may be a lover but you ain't no dancer

[Hook]
Go Helter Skelter
Helter Skelter
Helter Skelter
Yeah

[Verse 3: Paul McCartney]
Will you, won't you want me to make you?
I'm coming down fast, but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me the answer!
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer

[Hook]
Look out!
Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter

[Bridge]
Look out!
'Cause here she comes

[Verse 1: Paul McCartney]
When I get to the bottom
I go back to the top of the slide
And I stop and I turn
And I go for a ride
And I get to the bottom and I see you again
Yeah, yeah

[Verse 3: Paul McCartney]
Well do you, don't you want me to make you?
I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you
Tell me, tell me, tell me your answer
You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer

[Hook]
Look out!
Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Helter skelter
Look out!
Helter skelter
She's coming down fast
Yes she is
Yes she is
Coming down fast
