LUCIFERIAN TEMPLE
What comes to mind when you hear the name Lucifer? Probably red
demonic symbols, statues with horns, and beliefs against God with satanic
rituals. But a man by the name of Victor Damian Rozo thinks otherwise. Growing up
in Colombia fully around the Catholic religion, he seemed that his beliefs weren’t
to his satisfaction. Latin Post states that since the constitutional reform in
1991, Catholicism has been the religion of Colombia (Marino). Would it be weird
if I told you Rozo is the world’s first Luciferian priest? Yep, with the first
Luciferian temple in Colombia named “Seeds of Light,” he practices the teachings
of Lucifer, since he’s seen people pray to a “petty God” and has seen no changes.
Gives the chills to even think about praying to Lucifer!
How would you feel praying to Lucifer? I think I could speak
for many people saying that it would never ever cross their mind. With Rozo building
this temple, he wants to help people accept themselves through Lucifer, when no
one else does. He asks, “Why would you ask for help from a God who has no
compassion for the pain of others? I started to worship to Lucifer and started to
experience many changes in my life” (Rozo). I would say he sounds a bit
confused? But what is he really trying to achieve here? Rozo states that he
wants to, “deliver the message of Lucifer to every corner of the world.”
A Youtube interview states that, “The local townsfolk believe
that people and animals are sacrificed in the temple.” However, Rozo claims that
in the temple, people breathe peace, tranquility, and harmony.
Besides this unusual Luciferian temple being made by a man
who was once 100% Catholic, what point do you think he’s trying to get across? Is
he implying that you won’t find answers to a God that most people believe in? Is
he trying to start a cult with people who devote their life to Lucifer? These
are some of the many endless questions that have people scratching their head
in confusion.
