Illuminati Control

Have you ever heard of the Illuminati? It has been made famous by the recent movies the "Da Vinci Code" and "Angels & Demons." These movies fit into the suspense/action/drama categories for movie lovers. But is there any truth what is being displayed in the movies? In both movies there is a hitman that works explicitly for someone that has infiltrated the Catholic Church. But what do we know of the famed "secret" society known as the illuminati? Its origins begin in 1776 in Bavaria and was created for intellectuals who banned together to fight against elitists and religious groups. They feared a mass control of personal lives by the elitist in everyday activities. One would not think that this is the illuminati that we know today and they would be right. 

The Illuminati that we have become so familiar with comes out of the 1960s in a short write called "Principa Discordia" that amounted a parody religion that looked towards Eris the Goddess of chaos as its leader and he followers were out to create mischief. For most people it was just a flash in the pan of a counter culture driven idea. But for one it became something to push a new agenda off of. Writer Robert Anton Wilson suggested that this was a revolutionary idea to push people to ask if they could trust the information given to them. That if the news is reporting something is it the whole truth or just enough to keep viewers interested to sky rocket ratings. 

As mush as I would like the Illuminati to be 100% real, it seems that the conspiracy of the Illuminati is nothing more that writers taking over the name of something to create a platform for business. If no one is apart of it then everyone plays a role in it. It seems that human misconception of how the world is run wants us to think that there is a shadow organization that secretly controls everything that is going on. The perfect example would be the recent election in the United States. Its a commonly thought that since President Trump won the election that someone had to have rigged the election in order for him to win. This comes from the Democrats who are upset that they lost and now have lost their power in the government. While all the detail of the election are still unfolding it is hard to believe that the Russians were able to hack into our election just for one man to win. This indicates that the American people have forgotten how much power they actually have. In theory but rarely practiced it is our right to over throw a government in which becomes tyrannical  but as of now people seem to forget that the population holds the power not the people in the suits telling you one thing with their fingers crossed behind their back.
