A Tragedy Spun Out of Proportion
Sandy Hook Shooting
Twenty kids were savagely gunned down at school on December 14th, 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut. Six staff members were also taken before their time. Because of this horrific attack against the youth of our nation, media sources began to cover the major story as it unfolded.
The man pictured to the left is responsible for this cruel act. His name was Adam Lanza. At the time of his murder spree, he was twenty years old. Once he finished his spree, Adam turned the gun on himself and committed suicide.
It took media outlets several days to figure out the true story. Just like all of us, these sources were working hard to "break" the story which will bring money into the station. The media sources may have un-intentionally reported false claims but that's only because they thought it was real.
There is NO conspiracy in this terrible event. Lanza exhibited all qualities of a mass shooter as well as having a distrust in the government. These qualities joined together caused him to act out in such a vicious way. In the next few days, we will unpack this story and help establish that Sandy Hook was NOT a conspiracy for gun control or any of the other stories that seem to be floating around. What are your thoughts about the other article posted? I can understand how an event like this is hard to try and spin to be a government set up but do you directly disagree that there was any possibility this could stir action on gun control? If that is the case, I feel like a lot of progress has not been made so I could see it from both sides.
