Is Bush Responsible for 9/11?

On September 11^th, 2001 one of the deadliest “terrorist attacks” took place in New York City. Two airplanes had flown into both of the World Trade Center building. This attack was executed by Osama Bin Laden and his followers. These acts would eventually lead to the start of a continuous war between the U.S and several Middle Eastern countries. However, this idea of the United States being victim of a foreign terrorist group did not sit well with some conspiracy theorists.

It is claimed by some theorists, and even the current president of the United States, Donald J Trump that George W. Bush along with Bill Clinton were responsible for the 9/11. The previous statement is illustrated in the following quote from Trump, during a presidential campaign against Jeb Bush: “The World Trade Center came down during the Reign of George Bush.” He kept us safe? That is not safe. That is not safe Marco. That is not safe he continued.” The World Trade Center came down because Bill Clinton didn’t kill Osama bin Laden, when he had the chance to kill him. And George Bush--- by the way, George Bush had the chance, also, and he didn’t listen the advice of the C.I.A.” From this quote one may observe even the current President of the United States believe that George Bush was responsible for the 9/11 attacks on the United States. One may be asking oneself how would Bush benefit from an attack that killed nearly 3,000?

Some theorists believe that government were responsible for 9/11 in order to enact the Patriot Act. The government would benefit from the Patriot Act, because it gave the government more power and the people of the United States less privacy. The government claimed this Act would protect the citizens of the United State by allowing the government to intercept any potential terrorist action. While this may be true, the government would not have to go through all the prior procedures in order to attain information. (giving the people less privacy, and the government agencies more control) It is also believed that Bush had wanted to go to war with the Middle East from the beginning of this Presidential Campaign. Bush would then frame Osama Bin Laden in order to gain approval from the House and the American people to start a war. Is this a conspiracy or does Bush have the blood of thousands of Americans on his hands?
