Did Lee Harvey Oswald Act Alone?
Throughout the majority of our lives, we have almost all been told the same story about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy: that he was shot and killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. This story has become one of the most debatable theories of all time, with hundreds of conspiracies splitting off of the original. One of the largest theories surrounding the assassination is that Lee Harvey Oswald was actually involved in a team of shooters that comprised of four to six shooters rather than acting alone, making Kennedy almost impossible to miss.
The theory that Oswald acted alone is possible to believe but has flaws that lead to the theory of multiple gunmen. If there was more than one gunman arranged around the fatal stretch of the parade route, a triangulation of fire would trap Kennedy and make him an easy target. Another reason the multiple gunman theory is so believable is that the time between shots was very short (under 6 seconds for approximately 4 shots), so in order to be accurate enough and shoot at that speed multiple gunmen may have been needed. Along with this, the direction of the shots is still not determined for sure, but the direction of Kennedy's head movement after the final shot makes it seem as if he was shot from almost directly in front of him. This would mean that multiple shooters were definitely involved if Oswald was in a sixth story window behind where Kennedy was shot last if he was shot from the front.
